Lady Ethel T. Gay is a native North Carolinian who served faithfully in Christendom while residing there. She served her home church as Church Mother, choir member, Pastor’s aide chairperson, new members class instructor, and local church historian. On the Annual Conference Level of the UAFWB Church she served on the Christian Education Committee, and holds membership in the National Free Will Baptist Conference, USA. 

Lady Gay is presently a member of St. Matthew’s UFWB Church and serves as Church Mother with her husband, Bishop Robert J. Gay. She is the biological mother of one son, Minister Churchill C. Thomas, Jr. 

Secularly, Lady Gay graduated from high school in Beaufort County, NC and attained her Bachelors of Science Degree from Florida Memorial College, St. Augustine, FL (now in Miami). She further matriculated at Shaw University, Raleigh, NC for North Carolina Certification. Her Masters Degree in Education was earned at A&T State University, Greensboro, NC. Other certificates include Reading Certification from East Carolina University, and Early Childhood Certification from Pitt Community College, both in Greenville, NC. 

Presently, Lady Gay is enrolled in Liberty Home Bible College, Lynchburg, Virginia.
